Initiative 04 — Annual Cohort Model

🌟 STEM & Still Standing Mentorship

A seven-month mentorship programme connecting Caribbean students with STEM students, professionals, researchers and industry leaders. The programme gives mentees practical guidance, career exposure and a supportive relationship they can lean on while navigating STEM.

Tier 1
Secondary School Students
For students ages 14-19 preparing for CSEC/CAPE, exploring STEM careers and building university readiness.
Tier 2
Undergraduate Students
For students seeking research exposure, internships, graduate school guidance and professional development.
One virtual mentor meeting per month with guided discussion prompts
Personal development planning, STEM career awareness and networking support
Monthly STEMpower Connect sessions for community learning and inspiration
Confidence-building, leadership growth and future pathway planning
